INFORMATION FOR SHOPPERS

Shire Farmer's Market runs every Saturday from 8am to 1pm at the Flora Street carpark, Sutherland. It is situated directly behind the Sutherland Entertainment Centre and is only 100 metres from Sutherland train station.

There is plenty of parking in the Belmont Street carpark adjacent to the market
(diagonally opposite Sutherland Library) and in surrounding streets.

The majority of our stallholders are present every week. Others come twice or once a month. For your information, a list of stallholders is posted every Friday morning on Facebook for the following day’s market. If there is anyone in particular you are looking for, then please contact us.

Most of our stalls are selling produce and other food and drink items; however, we occasionally have a few gift stalls also, particularly leading up to Christmas. In addition, each week we provide a free community stall to a local non-profit organisation.

Stallholders no longer supply single use plastic carry bags.
We ask you to bring your own or purchase one from our Management stall

There are no ATMs on-site, but there are several on the main street just opposite the train station.

Whilst we allow dogs on leads to be brought into the market, please do not take them into any of the larger walk-thru stalls. If there is any issue with your pet, we may ask you to remove them from the market if necessary.

We welcome any suggestions or comments from the public.
